Our Services
We have 3 packages to choose from. Basic Transfer includes a transfer from video tape to DVD. Premier Transfer includes a transfer from video tape to USB Stick (you also get the DVD). Full Package incudes a transfer from video tape to an Online video which you can download from an email. You can then download the video to your phone and share through whats app or watch on your phone, as well as downloading to your computer, tablet and even your smart TV. Full Package also includes a DVD and USB Stick.
VHS Player
We only use a VHS player that is manufactured by a high-quality Japanese manufacturer. These VHS players are designed to be delicate with your VHS tapes. The VHS player has multiple sensors that will stop playback if any friction is detected.

Nationwide Service
Orion Media offer a nationwide VHS to DVD transfer service. Conversion of Video Tapes to DVD, Cine Film and Camcorder Tapes to DVD, Records/Cassettes to CD, Slides and Photographs to a CD/DVD. We can convert digital formats to CD/DVD too. Orion Media transfers take only days, not weeks, like others who offer this service. With our fantastic 10 Tapes for £70 deal. We only use Professional Grade DVD’s so you can be guaranteed of a quality transfer.
How it Works
You can place your VHS to DVD order online or over the phone. There are two options for getting your tapes to us.
- Package up your tapes securely and send them to our shop in Lancashire.
- We can email you a label to stick to your package, then a courier will collect your package from your home or office on a day to suit you. The collection charge is between £3 and £6 depending on the size of your order.
Then we process your VHS to DVD order at our shop. This usually takes a few days for smaller orders and 1-2 weeks for larger orders. Once complete we will send your order back to you with the original VHS tapes in the same condition as when we received them plus your new DVD’s. The delivery charge back to you is between £3 and £6 depending on the size of the order.
VHS to DVD Converter
It is possible to use a VHS to DVD converter to convert VHS to DVD yourself. These machines were manufactured in the early 2000’s and are no longer available to buy. We advise against using a VHS to DVD converter that is second hand as they may have defects which can damage your VHS tapes. The VHS player on these machines can be of poor quality so it is best to use a VHS player from a Japanese manufacturer where the VHS player can be connected to the VHS to DVD converter externally.
