| Blackpool visitors fluctuate during the year with the Summer months attracting more tourists than the colder winter months. Just how big is that difference? We can explore the data on car numbers to Blackpool. Almost all will use the M55 motorway so we can extract data and get a picture of visitor numbers in generally to the town. The chart below shows the peak summer months of July to August but the Illuminations keep visitors coming right through until November. Easter has a spike in numbers.
